Hugs to those in need, congratulations to Monngran & granny God.
It's finally calming down at work, so much so I was able to tidy my room & clean my desk (it was covered in grey streaks after the cleaners last attempt).
Hubby should finish around 8ish & we're having a take away for tea.
    Have a good afternoon everyone.
    Hugs Hester

we're taking her tomorrow :( however she is really excited and rightly so . everything is just about packed not quite sure how we are going to fit everything in the car though. .....

From practical experience of driving from Lancashire to London with DH to take DS2 to uni, I suggest you put her in the car and pack around her! We had to pass DS2 his breakfast bacon butty & coffee through the window as he was so boxed in :D :rotfl:

Gorgeous day here, washing dried on the line, been to dentist to have crown put back (it fell out when I was eating a toffee!).

DD and I have had a lovely day out - went to Dunblane this morning to see the gold post box for Andy Murray, went for lunch and then a wander around Stirling. Just relaxing now as very full from lunch.

No work at all for me for the next few days, it's September weekend here so the schools are mostly off Friday and Monday. Hope the weather is good tomorrow too as I will strip the beds.

Hugs to those in need. Take care. XX

    hello all
pouring with rain this afternoon. been to work then had my hair done and been to t£sco. now making hairy bikers korma as its just me and my husband as both of the children are on sleepovers. it feels really funny to be on my own at this time.
on my way to shopping saw an awful accident.i didnt see anyone visably hurt but at least 4 cars were total right offs and i was really shocked. it has just that second happened although i didnt see it but they were no fire or ambulance on the scene and i had to sort of drive through the carnage. i didnt stop as there were quite a lot of people stopping and getting out and i have no first aid skills. lots of people on phones so they were ok. the cars just did not look real. poor poor people. i did my shopping and an hour later there were two fire engines and 2 ambulances as well as police so it must have been serious. will be thinking of them all.
have a good evening all. off to finish my korma

    Quiet on here today....

    ((((hilstep))))

Busy day, barely stopped. Meeting this morning, my colleague took my work kids for me. Then various bits of paperwork this afternoon. Really nice atmosphere in the office today. It's the local rugby derby match today. My team against the local team here. So almost all my colleagues support the local team, but there are 4 of us who support my team. Cue lots of banter! :rotfl:. It was also payday, and our boss bought us all cake :D.

Popped to shops after work, then went for a jog. Nothing much else. I have a quiet weekend planned as I'm away next week with work so need to preserve my energy!

OS wise - packed lunch taken, laundry put away, recycling sorted.

    Have a good evening all

  • Oh forgot to say, I gained 2 clip/lock lunchboxes and a washing up brush from my boss today, her OH is a lorry driver and it was from a batch of damaged stock, but all is perfectly fine ;) there was loads of other stuff including toilet brushes, dustpans, retractable washing lines which colleagues took.

  • A quick late night post from me

Work has been a litle better, not been told off today.

os nil apart from tuna pasta for dinner

Redruby thanks for asking home is still not good. Dh has said that DS1 cant stay in the house long term. Not sure what to say or do, dont feel that he is supporting me to help my ds1 achieve better things in life. He doesnt feel that I am supporting him as it is making dh unhappy ds1 being here ie house is not as calm with him living here. ds1 is also working a part time bar job so gets in usually about midnight which means dh has broken sleep as he usually wakes up andis then up at 5.30am. Feel like I am trying to balance everything and its not working at the moment and feel so torn apart if that makes sense. I am trying to talk things through without arguing, but its hard.

Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care
