Good morning all, hope you are all keeping well.

My eye infection has all but cleared up now thank goodness.
Grey outside but dry so have popped my bedding on the line.
Tomorrow is ds3 18th birthday. It is his friends birthday the day after and as they have pretty much the same group of friends they are having a joint party. The other set of parents have paid for the hall and I have done food and decorations. Decorations havent cost me hardly anything as still had the ones from where ds1 and 2 turned 18 last year. I have spent about £50 on food and my dsister is helping prep and cook it all.
He wants to go skydiving for his birthday:eek::eek: so am giving him money to put towards it.

Stairs and landing need hoovering and hall and kitchen need mopping.

Off for breakie and a cuppa.

Take care and have lovely Fridays:)

Oh congratulations on the birth of your grandchild monnogran.

    morning all

firstly :j:j:j:j:j congrats to monnagran. means its my turn next :D

i'm still here... baby is playing games. one min he seems to think he might make an appearance and then changes his mind. still he'll come when he's ready... prob when jackieg is on her hols :p:rotfl:in the meantime i shall carry on with the horrid back and leg pain. walking in getting rather painful so trying to do bits in little bursts. midwifes wonderful advice was to rest but keep active :undecided sure there is a logic in there somewhere...

nothing os really going on other than the usual housework etc. ds has started his new nursery and loving every minute of it. had two compliments from his teacher already so proud mummy here :D

anyway enough waffle from me. have good day all :)

    Morning all!
Strange yellow ball is in the sky over Glasgow at the moment, so 2nd lot of washing is nearly ready to go out. Yesterdays needs ironed, and will drag the hoover and duster around in a bit. Need to shop for food for OH for the weekend as I am working, and will have a quick run into Pradamark or similar as DD and DS both need socks, his are all holey and hers are MIA, no doubt a collection on the boyfriend's floor!
Gentle hugs where needed, have a good day all!

Grey and chilly this morning here, but a day off for me, so I'm happy!

Having a nice relaxing morning, dd4 is pottering about doing her own thing and I'm fiddling on the laptop, doing a bit of Chrimbo shopping and catching up with OS.

OS stuff here today will just be the usual rounds of housework and washing, making bread and cooking dinner to use up lots of bits and leftovers. I'm also about to dig out the bits to make Russian spiced vodka ready for Chrimbo, think I shall wait until dd4 has her nap before I attempt it, never tried it before and would rather not muddle up the quantities!

Lunches for dd1, 2 & 3: hm rolls with ham/cheese, apples and pears, hm muesli bars & crisps.

Lunches for ds (off college today), dd4 and me: stir fry & spring rolls

Dinner for all + dd2's 3 friends who are staying over + dd1's mate who iscoming back from sixth from with her to get changed for the party they're off to later: pies, chicken and ham, or olive, feta and tomato, with mash and veg or salad, followed by choc fudge cake (must remember to make it!)

Time for hanging out the washing now, not sure it'll dry, but it'll give it an airing anyway, and then a spot of hooky and a cuppa whilst playing with dd3, then time for her nap and cooking! Looking forward to a flopping on the sofa with a book night later. Have a good day all xx

    Morning all,

no sunshine here either just lots and lots of rain.

Hilstep, hope all goes well with your OH tonight. I'm sure if your both committed to making things work things will work out.

Nmlc so sorry to hear about your sisters' operation but i hope things go well for her on Wednesday.

My morning has been taken over by the usual garden/household duties. The dogs have been quiet and not under my feet so i was able to get a lot done in a small space of time.

Just have the washing to dry and put away now then i'll start on our evening meal but i'll catch up on a few emails/posts first i think.

Have a dry weekend all :-)

Very strange yellow ball. Dog going wild.

Heard from DH - he's been delivering a baby! Rather more cheerful than anything else he gets to do at the moment.:j
