One would have thought that someone with an "above average IQ" would at least be able to spell correctly ......;)
I've never understood why the ability to remember how to do certain tests gives you a 'high IQ' and more so, why that then equates with cleverness.
Spelling is a prime example, someone who cannot read, let alone spell, is by definition 'stupid'?Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

I think you'll find Richard Bransons spelling isn't the best in the world. So is he by definition stupid?
I've brought this up before about people assuming intelligence by single factors, it's laughable as it's so simplistic (and the subject being discussed is intelligence!). Intelligence is made up by a massive spectrum of things.
A forum also isn't a good example, no one is being tested here on spelling/grammar etc so personally I don't put much effort in to checking that on here. So I'll form time to time make some mistakes, I'm sure everyone has even the ones who love to correct others spelling/grammar etc.
So you might think someone with an above average IQ might spell a certain word correctly, but you're not right, that's far to simplistic conclusion of how intelligent someone is.0 -
On thin ice here but I can't resist.....So I'll form time to time make some mistakes, I'm sure everyone has[,] even the ones who love to correct others spelling/grammar etc.
I'm a grammer Na*i, and sometimes I get it wrong when I shouldn't.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

Exactly. I'll type quickly on here. Sometimes with the example of 'from' I typed 'form'. I may then decided to re-word something which then means a comma is missing. But like I said, it's not an exam it's a forum. So people who simplistically read into things on here are just plain wrong.0 -
do you guys want to take this outside and leave the thread to be about the OP's issue?:happyhear0

No, it's about time the 22 pages of this thread had something different in!
What would be nice is when it gets left again that it stays left alone and not restarted after 3 months by the last poster again (who was just commenting (again) on a post they'd already commented on 3 months ago!!!).0 -
OMG - just read 22 pages of this thread!!!
Sorry for the OP and all others that have been apparently "scammed". Was quite funny reading the trolls responses.
Hope the team involved in this fraud eat cold beans for the rest of their life - then they'll know what it feels like to be shat on!0 -
Did you read all of the pages ?
Thats fascinating! What else can you do? Can you stare into a wall for 5 hours straight? You seem like the person who could. Tell us more...0 -
