And for me groundhog day too! I am not interested in "convincing" people, least of all yourselves, just thought I should try & give an insiders view but in all honesty I would much rather stay on my side of the "brainwashed" fence as at least the people here are not rude!

I am a young woman who has been able to quit my 9-5 job thanks to this company & help many other people to do exactly the same thing. If you think this is a bad thing then yep absolutely ridicule, but you will have to excuse me if I don't stick around to listen. I will still be running my business and very happy in doing so.

Any one can say "I am doing so well at this business it is fantastic", but often when they are asked to prove it they go very quiet.

So put up or shut up.
  • I suspect that some posters may come across as rude because they think that their intelligence is being insulted, or because they lose patience on seeing the same old spiel for the 2,000th time.

Something is really puzzling me: there are more than half a million members on here, and many are very generous where passing on information, tips and opportunities to earn are concerned. They often discuss certain companies. I am wondering why no established, trusted members have ever mentioned this "wonderful opportunity" and told us about their earnings from it.

As an Arbonne consultant all I do is wash in their products on a daily basis as apposed to using a different brand and show others (IF THEY CHOOSE THAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO) how to do exactly the same thing and earn an income for doing so.

So what do you make of this then

  • If what I found online is true, Arbonne filed for bankruptcy then merged with another 'natural skin care' company, since when the quality of their products has deteriorated.

    Very true.

It always appears to be drive-by postings from desperate sheep, who spend a couple of days trying to defend the scheme using their cut and paste arguments and this quietly slink off to go and try and find which of their last remaining friends they haven't tried to indoctrinate this week.

It is likely that some people really did make big money in the past, and maybe a few still are doing this. Perhaps they know hundreds of people and are very 'persuasive'.

However, we don't know the number of losers, nor how much product is actually sold.

Reading the "Aliens stole my bogroll" thread is more enjoyable than reading all the Arbonne criticism and praise out there. I really hate the whole concept of MLM and personal selling myself.

  • There is something I would really like to know. Does Arbonne sign up anyone and everyone, or is there a screening process? They must have some demographic information and a profile of the sort of person most likely to succeed.

I believe that a few people probably do earn a very decent living, but it seems that many do not. "It wasn't for you" and "you didn't work hard enough" are standard MLM explanations for why the expected huge income did not materialise. What age groups are the most successful? Do these people have jobs where they meet large numbers of potential buyers and distributors - in a Uni for example? What are their educational levels and professions? Did they just get in early so have large numbers of people under them? Does Arbonne give this information to people who sign up? Surely Arbonne and its distributors would not take on people they know haven't a hope in hell of making a go of it!

It looks to me as though the capitalist 'bosses' at the top of the network are exploiting the workers at the bottom.

A quick reminder that you are not "running your own business". I hate the fact that this is how they sell it when signing people up.

    To clarify:

You aren't a shareholder/partner and therefore do not own any part of the business.

You aren't a director/management and are therefore not managing the business.

You're a sales representative within the structure contributing to the earnings of the person who signed you up.

To earn income from Arbonne you have to be an independent distributor
and they will be taxed in the UK as a self-employed individual on their worldwide income from Arbonne.
