Groupon Vouchers and BHS Online Shopping - Loads of Hassle

Well I was charged the £3.95 for Delivery, even though I had spent more than the required amount to negate it.

After quite a load of hassle and phone calls I've managed to get it refunded back to my card

BHS admitted that they do have glitches with the Groupon Voucher deal.

Hang in there with them if you think their crumby system is cheating you out of your hard earned money and hopefully, you'll get a result.

But it's hard work!

I purchased the recent £20 voucher from groupon for £9 thinking this would be great to buy my daughters school trousers. Anyway I ordered two pairs of the same trousers in two different sizes so she could try them for fit and keep one pair that best fitted her. Each pair of trousers cost £18 therefore my bill was £36 plus £3.95 postage minus the £20 groupon voucher so I paid bhs an extra £19.95 using my credit card.

When I received the despatch note instead of taking £20 off of my entire spend as per the fine print of the groupon voucher they had in fact taken £10 off of each pair of trousers. As such when I sent back the pair of trousers that did not fit I only received a refund of £8! So I have ended up worse off now than if I hadn't of purchased the groupon in the first place and just brought the trousers full price!

My £20 groupon has not been honoured by bhs and they have told me that I have to contact groupon direct for a refund of my £9 as there is nothing that they can do for me as in their words "groupon messed up the terms and conditions of the offer. It should have been a percentage discount off of each individual item ordered and not a discount off of your total spend as stated on the groupon voucher"

In summary, forgetting the complicating factor of having brought two pairs of trousers and then returning one for a refund, I brought the groupon for £9 then purchased a pair of £18 trousers from bhs which should have been free considering I was using the £20 groupon voucher code, but those trousers have ended up costing me an extra £11.95 on top of the £9 I paid to groupon! I wish I hadn't bothered now.

I'm a regular groupon customer and have purchased many great value offers from the company but this has made me very nervous of the actual money saving value of your offers and I will seriously need to consider whether I risk spending with groupon again.

I'm also having trouble with the Groupon BHS offer. Can't get through the checkout process at all...
Will contact Groupon as suggested above and try for a refund. Really wish I hadn't bothered...
