Wedding Dress Dilema
Comments

Firstly, my OH would need to go back to the shop 2-3 more times for alterations and adjustments, which shes not willing to do because of the attitude of the woman. and if we were to take it to another dress shop to be altered they will charge through the nose because its not there dress and they have made no profit from it. (ive checked 150 a session was cheapest.
Absolutely agree. Sorting out the wedding dress should e an exiting time, something she should enjoy. Not full of awkward encounters with the very woman doing these alterations0 -
Cheers Acron,
Its good to know people understand the situation and dont think im just being Petty.
Ive watch my OH burst in to tears too many times over this and I dont wanna see her in tears every time she goes for an alteration, and if I had to see her in tears on our wedding day because the dress reminds her of the flak we took I would never forgive myself for not getting it sorted.
As soon as I have the money back in my hands Facebook, twitter, yell and every wedding board known to man will be getting continually inundated with bad reviews of this woman's shop.Current Debts

Plus, I wouldn't want to wear a reminder of such a bad experience on my special day. Best to get it all sorted beforehand

EDIT: As you just said lolOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
Update
Spoke to Consumer Advice as I wanted to make sure that I did everything correctly. They have decided that they are going to refer it to trading standards instead first, as they cant find any record of her contacting them.
Will receive a call in the next 5 days.

Well we could speculate given our own experiences, but that doesnt mean it will be the same as with you. So perhaps best to wait another 3-4 days and ask TS themselves how your case will be handled
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
