Really good point there. We do have a stove fire, so our gas consumption isn't massive, do definitely worth checking.

It would certainly be naughty to switch back to E.On in November, just because there is no exit penalty, and E.On offers £120.

So that's why the £42 cashback is paid 5 months after switching.:T

FixOnline 10? 26.3% total discount? How I pine for your return.
  • My switch to Scottish Power is almost complete, but I had another call from e-on yesterday to try to persuade me to stay but they could come nowhere near on price.

What the lady did say to me was that although she couldn't say too much at present there are going to be some very good tariffs coming out in a couple of months so I might want to keep my eye on them.

I wonder if they now realize they've cocked up with so many people leaving?

    Foreversummer

Martin states on his weekly mail that there is no exit fee on Scotish power during fixed rate till 2014.
    Found this on their PDF
    Cancellation Charge

I switched to Scottish power on the fixed rate till March 2014 and was told yesterday on the phone that there are no exit fees - just got to give 28 days notice.
  • Ive just switched to Scottish Power from EON too. You should get a welcome pack in the post in the next few days (even if you opted for online billing) and this will confirm the exact unit prices you will be paying.
