Morning all,

Congrats Monogran and family, what a lovely name.

Cold and wet here today. I am just back from the dentist, have had part of a root filling done which will need two more spots so feeling very sorry for myself.
Have to buck up as I have a busy wkend with dm and dd coming to stay on Saturday night along with my eldest girl who is coming for the night as the little one is with his dad.
Not too much work for me as a takeaway is planned for Saturday and then a visit to the garden centre on Sunday for some Christmas bits and bobs.
Lots of admin jobs to do today so must get on.

Taplady i am glad your colposcopy went ok and i hope the results are good too. A scan on a full bladder though uncomfortable its not too bad (but make sure you know where the nearest toilet is for when you come out).

Its a cold rainy day here and i've put the heating on. Son is at college, i think he is going to get very wet when he comes home.

Ive done most of the jobs i needed to do already but ive got some fresh vegetables i need to prepare and freeze before they start going soft.

Went to Curry's this morning to get my cleaner a new hoover. She wanted a dyson, which I didn't like, but she uses it more than me, and actually she has converted me:rotfl:
Waloked r0ound Mr T's with the trolley for support. Came home shattered. Longest I've done for two weeks.:o
SIL's interview went well. Fingers crossed now.
Got the last of the superglue off my eye gash. It feels much better now. Black eye nearly gone too.
Going tomorrow to get the staples out of my arm and I can have a bath. Bliss!

Tonight I will have a piece of smoked haddock and a poached egg. Only cost me £1 in Mr T's

Afternoon all,
Not very nice here today at all,grey and lots of showers.We had the heating on for an hour last night too Think I'll put the winter duvets on when I change the beds,though upstairs doesnt get as chilly generally.Time to get the crochet out I think

I've been printing a few photos off of DGD,as I'm going to my old neighbours for lunch tomorrow-havent seen her for about a year,and the bl%0dy printer has run out of ink again :mad: Its meant to be economical as it has 5 seperate cartridges for diff colours and you just change the empty one,but it wont work till you do ,not even black.Only did 3 little 'uns before it conked so she'll have to make do with my phone pics.

I had more of the turkey broth for lunch,and got some lamb mince out for shepherds pie tonight.
Right,off to tackle the bathroom,then hopefully some crafting.

afternoon everyone.
dull and spitting with rain here and i love it. all cosy and comfy at home. ( well until i go back to work at 530) when my little boy gets home (any second) will make him hot choc and hm biscuits. then we will snuggle under the blanket and watch a bit of telly then go through his spellings before i leave for work. tea is toad in the hole - another winter warmer.
busy at work today fed 52 and it will go up tomorrow as they all have school dinner on a fri. didnt finish til 230 then quick catch up on here then other job at 5.30, busy day today.
i should post more as i love reading and always think look how many views this gets and how few posts...id be lost without it. note to self...post more

I didn't get chance to post this morning as I was in a rush.
I'm going to cook up some meals for next weeks packups in a minute, need to look see what's in the freezer first.
I need to clear the kitchen table, it's a bit of a hot spot, so I need to make an effort.

JackieO - Hope you are getting better after your fall, for goodness sake slow down!

Had school work today, straight to Hospice and now on to evening job. I have got the long weekend off both works so looking forward to a bit of a relax!

Cloudy, miserable, chilly and showery here today. Out and about with the work kids this morning then went to our cabin this afternoon. They picked what meals they want to cook whilst away next week, pasta bake, ham/egg/chips and pizza. Then we wrote a giant shopping list.

Lazy evening in tonight, should do some bits around the house but really CBA'd!

OS wise - ummmmm bought YS fresh noodles to go with my stirfry for tea.
