  • Or....take your cat to the vet and have them do it with their annual boosters! We have an appointment tomorow. Costs a bit more but MUCH less stressful for all concerned.:o
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

i've just ordered some droncit drops , should be a bit easier that trying to get her to swallow a tablet,
don't the people who make these tablets test them out to see if cats will eat them without a fuss
  • You can get a cat treat called Webbox Lick-e-lix in most supermarkets, we hide tablets in that. It's kind of a cat yoghurt, you can get salmon flavour or chicken. Our last kitty Mittens was a gullible soul who never seemed to notice the tablet. Our current cat Baloo knows that we are hiding a tablet and gives us looks of disgust but likes the treat so much he eats it, tablet and all, regardless! I don't suppose it will work for every cats, but it is worth a try in case you are one of the lucky ones.

I use the webbox cat sticks for smaller tablets, pushing the tablet inside a piece.

With the bigger tablets or a non co operative mog, it's the old grab and shove in before they realise what's happening.

What can I say? I like living dangerously.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

You can get it in granular form. Mix a couple of sachets in with some fast tuna and jobs a good 'un

I crush tablet , mix it with lurpak and smear it on his hind legs, he licks every bit off almost immediately.
  • I get the panacur granules. As my cat's a reformed junk food addict I just mix it with some whiskas and it's no problem at all. He can't believe his luck he's getting his old favourite!
  • I use milbemax and it's palatable! They think it's a treat, amazing!
