New combi boiler question.

Hello people just a quick newbie question.
Had a new Vaillant ecotec Plus 24kw boiler installed a few weeks ago. The plumber did everything and commissioned it all, made sure everything was working. When he was doing everything the rads got nice at hot.
It was a bit cold last night and in the morning the wireless thermostat turned the central heating on but it did not get very hot. On the display on the boiler it was only showing the CH temp going up to about 40C rather than the target temp of 60C.
I am just wondering if this is a problem or is it just because it was not that cold so the boiler was not heating up as much because it only needed a little heat to get the temp back up?
Hot water from the tap works fine.

What temperature have you got the boiler set to for the radiators?
Turn the radiator dial and set to 65.
Have you got weather compensation fitted?0 -
The radiator setting is 60c. Not sure about a weather compensator. But I have been reading the fitting instructions that came with the boiler and it does say "The heating partial load is set to auto. This means that the boiler interdependently determines the optimum heating output depending on the current heat demand"
So I am guessing that it wont be getting very hot due to the fact that it only needed to warm the room temp a little bit.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090
