So I am looking for a Galaxy Beam.

I know it is not quite a great phone, given I have an SGS3 atm, although I will be positioned out in Asia in a teaching role in the new year, and some of the areas have very little resources, some not even a board to write on. So figured with the built in projector, it would definitely make life easier.

So I am trying to find out if anyone knows the best price for one, as all I have seen so far is over £300, which is a bit much for a "gimmick" phone

I am no expert, but I think you greatly overestimate the capabilities of a projector built into a mobile phone.

How about getting a seperate 'pico' projector?

Don't waste your money on this, it doesn't work well unless the rooms dark, as this review will show you.
