Hello everyone, I am setting up my brother in laws new computer today:j I am not sure about the ISP will it automatically connect via telephone line or is there something else I need to do? Because his old computer was steam driven, he has never been able to have broadband so I reall need to know the way forward to set this up, maybe even change his ISP to a better provider (any suggestions) he has been with his current provider several years so I assume he does not need to give them notice of change
Thank you for any help.

To set up his dial-up go to start
control panel
network connections
create a new connection, then follow the wizard and put his name and the dial-up number for his ISP.
If he does decide to change ISP`s he WILL need to contact them to cancel.

That is only true if he is on a monthly contract, if he is on a pay as you go with local rate call charges then there is no contract to cancel."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
