For the avoidance of doubt, the Money Back Guarantee cannot be claimed via any retailer. - Don't understand what that means. Does it mean it cannot be claimed by the retailer?

I'm guessing it means you can't turn up at, say, Tesco, and demand your money back there and then? It is a bit confusing but that's what I assume it means... :)

As Dormouse said, the purchaser cannot get a refund of the cost from the retailer.

You always have to apply to either the manufacturer or their agent following the instructions given by them.

I suppose they have put this extra clarification in on this offer because it is a bit different from a usual situation as there is the comparison with an earlier product.

Has anyone tried this - it was posted here a while ago but can't see what you need to do to get your money back.

It's a free step starter kit which promises improved skin or your money back!!

Just took the plunge and bought a massive (400ml) can of Batiste from Boots for the TMF. I don't know what was putting me off doing it earlier, maybe it was having to send the lid back. I obviously didn't pay attention though as I now realise postage is covered.

On the form you have to fill in it says explain why you'd like to try it free. That suggests to me they want reasons why you don't like it - which is a MBG isn't it? Not bothered either way, just wondering how to phrase my reply.

I didn't give criticism and I've had a successful refund. You just have to tell them about why you would like to try it for free, which could be because you think it's a brilliant product that you want to use on holiday, or at festivals, maybe it would save you time getting ready in the morning, maybe you have long hair which gets greasy at the roots but is dry at the ends. for the batiste...I said that I had never considered using dry shampoo before as I thought it was expensive and was grateful for the offer and subsequent offer of the refund....just told the truth and got the refund, and the refund...back in the early days when they forgot to refund the postage so sent several cheques as compensation.
