I've done a big search for the Jergens MBG as advertised on their press and TV ads and even emailed them (no response). Am I imagining things?
Yes, that’s exactly right. We do have a guarantee.

Use for a minimum of 2 weeks and, if not completely satisfied that the appearance of your skin has improved, call us on 0800 085 3813 to receive a free Jergens 200ml product of your choice. Proof of purchase is required and your original receipt must be dated between 01/03/2013 and 10/05/2013.

Offer ends 25/06/2013. One claim per person, non transferable, no cash alternative. Valid in the UK only. Does not affect your statutory rights.

    Thanks, The Jergens Team

Not exactly a MBG, but more of a product you didn't like!
Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.
  • Just a word of caution, They do not refund your postage for this! I didn't notice until I got my cheque, and realised. Then found in the small print that it actually said that postage costs were the responsibility of the claimant!

This is why I didn't go for the Dolmio one as even with it being 'reduced' to the cost of a stamp it works out more expensive than my usual passata. I'd never assume postage is refunded though and as it says in the OP always read the terms properly.

Where can you get a 750g jar of sauce from for less than 50P? (price of a stamp) I want to know! lol

Anyone else found POM Wonderful and PomeGreat really slow in refunding your money? I've found all the other companies I've sent off to rather efficient!

Interesting list of deals. I wonder where I can find more of these by myself.

Think its called "money back guarantee rebate" in America....probably runs along side "couponing" websites as its big over there (well that's how our media portrays it!) I did a quick "Google" search and there's defiantly some. :j

The other thing to watch out for is on TV adverts if it's a TMF/MBG it usually says too - I didn't even used to notice this but do now.

Just make sure you read the t&cs properly as some products you have to send back or have to jump through certain hoops to get your money back

Asda Smartprice Passata (500g) costs 29p. It works out as 43.5p for 750g. Not much less but I enjoy the above and it works great as a pasta sauce so don't see any reason to spend any more.

I saw an Oral B electric toothbrush in Boots today (think 1000 was in the model name) with a money back guarantee flash on the front. But it said further details were inside so don't know anything else, HTH.
Anyone know anything else about this?
Amazon have a similar promotion, you need to return everything to P&G within 30 days to avail of the offer
