I think some names would be too distinctive to have them all clustered within one postcode area. I think it depends how 'common' your name is and how close your addresses are together.

True. My second address is in a different city!

I will definitely be using my OHs name, and we both have quite common names (and different surnames!)

Remember to keep a spreadsheet so you don't get in a muddle.

    And prepare to become addicted!

I've only been TMFing for 3 years but I've had nearly 3 grands worth of stuff for free. It's amazing!

Its important that you check each set of terms and conditions....some do not allow different names at the same address,as they specify "one claim per household"....and remember seperate receipts for each item as companies dont accept photocopies...

all standard things that a seasoned TMF claimant will know ...but something you will pick up om as you start doing them

I just done a dumb thing I bought the activia the velvet toilet roll and the Leerdammer all on the same receipt I now realise I need to send a receipt with each claim dam! In my own defence I am new to this, one of the things I am wondering about is they ask you to do a 15 word statement as to whats wrong with the product I would appreciate some advice on how to word this thanks.

I have given in and started a spreadsheet! Got sick of my notebook getting tatty in my bag.

I've been wondering lately whether everyone handwrites their claims or does it on a computer? I try to vary my claims for the same product from capitals to lower case letters, to try and disguise my handwriting a bit, but I suppose word processing it would get rid of that problem.

Yes, I handwrite because it saves printer ink. I vary the handwriting, pens, paper and envelopes too.

I hand write some and print some off the computer. I'm guessing that as long as the addresses are different, the companies can't complain, even even someone did notice that the handwriting is similar... After all, the handling companies are the same for a lot of the promotions, but I'm hoping they won't care as long as we stick to the T&Cs...

For those who haven't done the Finncrisp promption, it finishes end of Oct and I still see promotional packs floating around. Saw some in Asda today and they were only £1 each, so a nice 50p profit for buying 2 ;)

Years and years and years ago, when Heinz used to do lots of TMFs, I had claimed at 2 separate addresses and had a letter from them enclosing both applications and pointing out that they were identical writing!!!! Some jobs worth with time on their hands obviously! Since then of course I always vary the script, (and whenever do we find TMFs any more with Heinz?!)
