Help with Samsung Galaxy S2 please

Hello All,

I need to take my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone abroad but am worried about incurring roaming/internet charges.

How can I turn this part of the phone reliably off for the week so it can only be used for calls?

Thanks!
R.

The most reliable way is to leave it at home.

Failing that, turn Data Roaming off in Mobile Network settings.
Or, even more, turn Mobile Internet off altogether in Wireless & Networks settings.
  • Hold down the power button and select 'data network mode' so that it says deactivated
