If you have a wireless router then yes.
Have you got the mighty book of words that came with it?
Give us the make and model, or just google it.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Yes. talktalk will have provided you with the router name (something like TalkTalk123a4) and a security code to access it.
If your pc has a cd/dvd drive then the cd that came with the router will guide you through the setup process.
If you can't get a connection because your pc is too far away from the router to receive the signal then you need to say so in order that various options can be suggested.0 -
Thankyou so much for answering my question, I was getting very confused for a minute there.
I have not had it installed yet and am getting slightly worried about some comments on here about TT but trying to be a good money saver so will give them a go. Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -
Hi Oops a daisy,
Once the router arrives it will have a sticker with the router name and the wireless password.
This should already be enabled for wireless so you just need to detect the network from your wireless device (laptop, tablet, pc) by completeing a scan. Once detected you can connect to the network and input the wireless password.
If you have any trouble with this we have a help article located here:
http://help.talktalk.co.uk/app/answers/detail/a_id/2147
Which guides you through the setup process, you jsut need to click the correct router type and it will take you through the setup step by step.
Regards
Mark
