A 3v MAXELL or SONY CR1616 or you managed to put it into factory 'sleep mode' ? try pressing one or more of the three buttons.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem. Yeah it still has a battery, it's just that it is rechargeable, you can replace it exactly like any other quartz watch, yours uses a CTL920 looks just like a normal button battery but is rechargeable, meaning that it is only very infrequently that it will need to be replaced.
All solar watches (at least ones form Casio, Citizen, ect.) the rechargeable capacitors are replaceable, because as we all know rechargeable batteries gradually fade after many recharges, as I say it takes along time though I have a Casio solar watch from about 10 years ago and it holds it's charge like new.0
