I has just stopped working and i have no info on the watch, I know some are solar powered but not sure if mine is. Can some one tell me if this one has a battery inside?

No, according to the blurb its solar powered.

Casio EQW-M1100DB-1AER Gents Watch Quartz Analogue Stainless Steel Silver Strap
This Casio EQW-M1100DB-1AER Gents Watch is a relatively heavy and chunky watch and it is definitely smart enough for formal use. The Casio EQW-M1100DB-1AER Gents Watch has boast with incredible features such as; radio controlled, solar powered, Mode dial (to the left of the main dial), World Time/Alarm/Stopwatch dial, 24 hour dial, Date window, round shape, and water resistance to 10ATM.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I suspect yours may have a battery but can't find a reference.

Yes it does have a battery it uses a CR1616, it's odd to see a Casio Waveceptor watch without solar power, so when the battery dies you'll have to have it replaced.

(the fact it has a digital display gives it away that it has a battery)

Must be! Try searching the document for 'battery' it's mentioned 4 or 5 times.

There are five references to 'battery' in this Operation Guide, but nowhere does it say what model/type the battery is.

Even if it is solar powered/kinetic it would have a battery/capacitor which needs changed every few years.
