    Hi SS - yep, 2012 hasn't been my happiest year so very, very glad to see the back of it.

    Wishing you and your son a very Happy Christmas X

    by eck Natty. Thats not necessary this side of Christmas is it? Sorry to hear of your woes. At least you weren't in a onesie. Speaking of which - I saw my first 'mansie' in Mr S the other day. Had to do a double take to make sure I wasn't seeing things but no, bloke wearing one to do his shopping!

    There's probably another post, on another board where someone is talking about a woman at a garage wearing bright red jammies with white polka dots:D

    Well as Google says, Happy Holidays everyone:T

    I'm just away to walk the dog down to the butchers to collect the meat side of the Christmas dinner (not for me though....I'm still undecided what veggie delights will bestow my plate;))

    Hopefully LBR will be fixed today - I'll conveniently lalalalala out the cost. This will then enable me to do supermarket shopping before everything is sold out:p

    The plan is (should it all go to plan), to then meet my daughter in the town to watch 'It's a Wonderful Life', have a glass of festive cheer, then head home for Christmas Eve chillaxing:xmastree:

    Have a lovely day y'all X

    Well hello diary:p

    For anyone reading (and haven't read on ed's diary) LBR cost £140:( but can't dwell on it , so instead I paid on my CC - interest free - and will spread the cost.

    I went to the sales yesterday and spent £10 on myself (earrings, joggers, ring and cosy socks), £6 on a cushion for my daughter and £15 on hoodie for my son. The shops were surprisingly quiet comparative to previous years, I think the majority of spends must be online this year however I preferred to use the hard cash method as CC already been used.....

    Bad News first;

    My HWB has a leak:eek:
    I've eaten a fair bit of crap
    I have to attend a house party which will be made up of couples...and the obligatory single (ME!)

    Good news;

    I have eventually got round to cancelling TV package (continuing with phone and broadband only). Never watch the bleeding thing and kids have net flicks, DVDs (and a life!), so about time and I reckon annual saving of £360.....why didn't I do this before???!!!!

    One of my lovely friends (not the one forcing the house party on me), gave me a months free, no quibble, kick start gym membership. Now I do hate gyms with a passion, however do agree that I need a kick start (hence purchase of joggers in the sales)

    I still haven't touched my paid-far-too-early-salary. It's a Christmas miracle I tell you:T

    With the house party...it always seems rubbish going on your own but quite often the ladies seem to gather in groups anyway, they've spent the rest of the holiday with their OH after all:D so it'll be fine! unless they are hoping to set you up with a token single man...

    Unfortunately SS (from past experience, and given it's an entire group I never socialise with), it's quite a 'show-ey off' clique however I will go - even it's just for a couple of hours - and grin and bare (bear?- I'm never too sure?) it.

    I imagine wine may help:D

    Well it may be bear or bare, depending on how much wine is drunk ;)
    A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)
