Hey lula - the mini is bigger than I thought it would be, so very happy with the size:D although I do prefer to post on MSE using the laptop as the iPad keeps on making changes to the text (that aren't necessarily words I was intending on using!). I dare say I'll get used to it though, and soon won't be able to spell of my own accord;)

I ended up not going to the house party as just felt so totally sh*te:( I used be nice and slim, but in the last year have piled on the 1lbs and just don't feel right in my body - I also hate exercise with a passion and love comfort eating which is of course a recipe for disaster! Although I do believe I've reached my tipping point regarding this body. I've been searching for apps re food intake etc.

Hope you like the mini:D X

Thank you shala:D I've downloaded the app.....will now have to do the dreaded weigh-in:eek::eek::eek:

HDK - I'll maybe track my progress on my signature as the shame may very well be the motivation I need (also I am determined NOT to go up another dress size during 2013). It is my intention to document mortgage v MOPs on my signature during 2013 also....so resolutions here I come!

Right off to weigh my lard (my scales are old and v cheap, but as long as I keep weighing on same set this shouldn't make a difference, right?)

Assuming my scales don't buckle under a boinggggg-ing sound, I'll be back soon:p

  • Roll on 2013 NP. I have a significant birthday next year and I need to shed some lbs too. We'll have to try and keep each other on the straight and narrow.

    Good luck Tilly x x

Thanks tilly - it's good to know that there's others out there for moral support:D my lard totals 68kg and I am looking to loose 8kg....hopefully by doing no exercise other than walking!

The app shala recommended looks good for tracking all food I shamefully shove down my gob, maybe a bit of 'mindful' eating for a change will do me some good:D

Great. Another challenge I'll feel compelled to sign up for so I don't appear to be rude :D.

Or maybe it's because I've just eaten a chocolate orange :o.

    Feel a bit sick _pale_.

Am sure I can cure it with wine .

    I absolutely insist you sign-up:D

I am thinking to myself that I am allowed wine....as long as I drink the equivalent in water in between. Or is that just taking things a tad too far:eek:
