It has that sort of effect on people who hear it IRL too. I just hope natty doesn't feel I've hijacked her thread.
Anyway, it's all in the past now apart from the legal aspect - 4 years since he died - so I'm not in crisis and won't be inflicting endless emotional outpourings on the forum.
Thistlewhistle, are your own ups and downs on your diary? Maybe I should go and read that one. Actually, what I ought to do is go to work, or I won't get everything done before I'm meant to be somewhere else. I'll read your diary later.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Lydia, you have a loan to buy a house so it is a mortgage of sorts (and borrowing from Bank of Mum seems to very normal to my kids
). And you are unofficially 'offsetting' by saving instead, which is what a lot of us are doing. So, entirely normal. Though I find it interesting you chose Natty's diary to confess to abnormality :rotfl:.
Crikey, quite a tale you've told though. Hope it gets resolved soon.
Muser, yes, there appears to be such as thing as chocolate wine .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Thanks for the welcome, gallygirl. :hello:
I've posted on a few diaries - yours, Tilly's, natty's and Froggy's so far, I think. It's just that after natty asked me not to go back to lurking, I explained why I had been lurking so long without posting, so it was on this diary that Calfuray asked me about my abnormal mortgage.
Have to admit that while lurking I assumed chocowine meant wine with side order of chocolate - or chocolate with side order of wine.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Well, OK, I won't lurk any more. Not sure about having my own diary, though. Will continue posting on other people's for a bit and see how things go. It's lovely that everyone is so welcoming here, though. :hello:Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Don't try to explain it Lydia, your abnormal mortgage simply felt at home here :rotfl:.Have to admit that while lurking I assumed chocowine meant wine with side order of chocolate - or chocolate with side order of wine.
As I was saying - this diary's a bit like Willie Wonka and the Chocowine Factory :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
