Just noticed this post and dropped in to say a belated thanks for the welcome, nattypants.
How's the uni work going? When does your term end? I teach in an independent school so I get colossal holidays (to make up for a school day that finishes much later than normal schools, and having to do various Saturdays etc) so I've only got a week and a half to go.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Morning Lydia - just over a week until EOT, although I work in central ED so no teacher holibobs for me (also currently have a student teacher on placement with me so am actually having to work both efficiently and professionally NOT an easy task - talk about pressure:rotfl:)
Submitted and passed last assignmentand started and due for submission, next piece, for beginning of May. Also currently at the start of house redecoration so furniture currently all shoved into two rooms. One room should hopefully be complete at end of next week, then operation kitchen commences.
Catch up night out with best-friend-at-work colleague tonight so out for tea
