Natty's Kicking her Mortgage in the Pants Diary

I am contemplating getting someone to do the first grass cut of the year as last year I hurt my back doing it and then we can keep on top of it. Hedge cutting is more of a pain in the @rse so no justifying needed in my opinion. Have you had a relaxing time knowing someone else is doing it, other than worrying about the money? If so then you made the right decision.
Thanks AJ - I have been getting a bit stressy about it, however the deed is done and I have kind of recouped the cost via no chocolate bar justification.
I will keep on top of it as far as possible, as the house views are only onto gardens (well, some hills in distance), so I am keen for the gardens to look nice:)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

That's the guy JUST left, and it does look way better (although for an extra £20 he did further up tidying of the front garden - I was a bit
to say before, but now I have you on board, I thought I'd just slip that one in)
So all in all, I have spent 26 week's worth of chocolate bars....I only have another 25 weeks to go of chocolate abstinence before I recoup my money:eek:February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Natty the £80 is between you and your conscience. If you can live with yourself than who are we to judge.
Ha ha, that'll get her going :rotfl:. Assuming she does have a conscience of course.

Off to see Helen's thread. Better class of conversation.

i'm telling you she could charge for people watching her doing both :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
No stripping today, or yesterday:( but at least I have a bush to be proud of and yes, it has already been admired.
Moving the conversation on, I think I may have lost a few wee 1lbs (according to my muchos el cheapo bathroom scales that is), the lady gym visits have only amounted to 3X so I am going to credit; not drinking alkypops, and not eating the crisps, the chocolate or the biscuits:T
Unfortunately to keep up the lose of the lard it looks like I will have to up the exercise, as despite being a Demi-God to GG, I am only human.....and it's not Lent;)
Still 18 days to pay-day:(February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Your right NP, theres nothing better than everyone admiring your bush, especially if its freshly shorn.
We have very large trees round our garden and the people at the bottom of the garden (elves) asked when we were planning to trim. Advised them that quite low still on our priorities but would get there eventually. Apparently they are in shade because of their height (they went way above roof line but are just old not fast growing). Anyway they came back and asked that if we didnt mind, could they pay someone to do it and also remove the waste. So we very generously allowed them to Pay someone to cut our trees down to the height of the top of their upstairs window.. Result, came home last week, trees cut, and waste taken away.....
Mentioned this to BF OH who is a tree surgeon, DH has done quite a few freebies for them, and he offered to do the sides in the summer if we fire up the BBQ.
Think its worth noting that no showing of my bush was required!Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Bizarrely I'm not even missing wine - perhaps I'm in my very own episode of LOST as I cannot fathom out what's going on:p
Re the possible lard-loosing, I have a pair of jeans that I will try on intermittently as the muffin-top acid test. The scales may be dodgy, but the jeans will never lie:DFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

I wish I had elves like you HDK....I also have large conifer that shades the outbuilding (aka my drinking den one day), and is all squished next to another tree. Anyway to cut a long story short, I was quoted £300 for removal:eek: I said I would have to save up (when secretly I'm going to seek quotes)
Glad to hear that your bush wasn't on view:pFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
