The Amazon cloud Player is free, you can pay to get a premium service which all that changes is allows you to upload upto 250,000 songs instead of 250 songs.

The only pain with the new way to pay is that I had a 25% discount code from signing up to the mp3 newsletter which I was going to use for multiple albums in my shopping basket, but now it will only be able to be used for 1 album.

Didn't even know there was a paid for version of the cloud.

Yes i thought you could use the 25% discount of an album plus the odd mp3 but you can't.

I'm tempted with getting the pro as I've got an awful lot of songs, and having access to them on the cloud will be good.

I guess Amazon will match any songs they have on their servers before uploading any non-matches, even that will probably take a while to do.

I wonder if I can pay the £22 fee using my amazon gift card balance

Trawling through the pages of albums is a bit of a rigmarole; wonder if I'll find something worth 99p to me...

Amazon Mp3 store like a !!!!!! Emery comedy of error

Today I tried to buy an album and the code didn't work, online chat had to pass on my enquiry to gord knows whom. Two incoherent voicemails later and an explanation (email) of how to enter the code, when I clearly said the code wouldn't work.
In the end they emailed to say they would give me a 25% credit once I bought the album, so I did but weirdly the final email invoice price was 25% lower. (I checked out without any code as it wouldn't accept it as error)

???????? Gord knows what is going on with Amazon!

OP glad you got it sorted in the end even though it was a roundabout way to do it.
