I don't doubt that Lucy, given the current high volume of bankruptcies.
Mine differed from many of the posters, here, in that it was one of my creditors (HMRC) who petitioned for my bankruptcy, rather than petitioning myself.
Also, others appear to have had to go to 'face to face' interviews when there has been a 'business' or 'partnership' involvement.
I would be interested to know how many people have actually had to attend an interview, and if there is some pre-set criteria for interviews.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I appreciate that Rog, that there are more complicated bankrupcies than mine! I'm glad mine isn't face to face anyway..eek! i'd have been *****ing myself even more lol!0

all 3 of my catologes are in my bankruptcy, so dont think they be letting me get allot for summer,, lol, but my mum has them, and you get things on a debit card, but only one catologe i use now, and its for kids cllothes, and i pay my mum for it. so im learning to use my money (slowly) lol.SAW THE LIGHT JAN 2007:eek::beer:
