I will try to find out about a letter from the university, I just don't think it's right when she hasn't really left home. She is home this weekend and still needs her own room.
As for people questioning why I am receiving benefit, well it's not none of your business. I work part time and I am studying for a degree.

So why does it cover my housing benefit then?
In my HB ac (which I can view online) it shows her a non dependant and next to her name instead of the deductions to HB I'd normally recieve for having a non dependant in the house it say 0:000 -

It seems a little harsh to be moaning your state assistance has gine down due ti your daughter moving out when the state and other tax payers are paying for your lifestyle choices. Working part time is a luxury, most have to work full time and study around that.0 -
