Fingers crossed that you get it sorted though.

Hi guys,
As I had suspected the seller hasn't bothered to pick up the item and is now messaging me to say that he hasn't received the item. I told him I sent it via special delivery and so far he has stopped contacting me. I also provided him with the tracking number. At this point paypal has refunded me after I had scanned in my proof of posting even though it only says 'delivery attempted'. My question is, must I be doing anything further? He continues to be quite rude. Basically I am looking for confirmation that if I just start ignoring his emails I won't get into any trouble legally.0 -

No you will be fine, you have fulfilled the requirement to return the item- it isn't your fault the seller hasn't collected itI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I would not enter into any further communications with the other person. If they continue to make threats you should print off all copies etc and consider asking your local neighbourhood bobbie to pop round to discuss if the threats are enough for the Police to at least pay a visit to him/her to give words of advice. If the threats include demanding money etc that can be a serious issue.
Its not always possible just to ignore such threats.0 -
I have just run into what seems to be another problem. While paypal have sent me an email that says I have won the case and will be refunded, I haven't actually received the money yet. I thought I had but forgot that I had sold some things recently (two weeks ago) and that is what is in my paypal account. So I logged into the resolution center and it says the case is closed and that at this time the case was not decided in my favour. Is this some kind of common mistake? I only received the 'case decided in your favour' email on thursday. Does this warrant a phone call? I now have no idea if I will get this refund or not or if I have indeed won the case. This is such a nightmare. Any advice appreciated.0
