Midwinter has already said they had theirs refused and the staff weren't having any of it, and as I have posted, not everyone relishes having a battle with staff. Is head office manned 24/7? Even if it is, some people will get seriously stressed over this possibility of being trouted and won't want the confrontation, regardless of any posts on here telling them to stand their ground and relax.

Im not telling people to stand their ground if it gets too difficult - if they run into trouble there is always the option to take their voucher back, leave all their shopping behind and contact HQ at the earliest opportunity. Its possible to smile sweetly, not argue too much and just walk out.

"This limit will be applied before trade on Sunday 23rd September"

    What does this mean?
In Scotland where some stores are 24 hours, trade on Sunday begins at Midnight, whereas others will not open til later. Also there is no indication whether they will be capping apgs in store (which I can imagine some eager managers might try) or just capping the newly generated apgs.
This huddle note is ambiguous and doesn't actually contain much detail and so I expect to get trouted when I go to spend mine tomorrow (cba to go out again tonight).

edit: Only just read back and see that they are capping in store. Oh well a phone call to HO in the morning may be required.

    It's only a game

We would if you were deliberately trying to be unkind to someone for whatever reason you could find.
  • FK has already pointed out once printed you have 28 days to redeem it, as its a contract.
    FK is correct :D
    Shop one - A vs T
    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    It was £20.30

Capped, in that, APG was £20.30, and they would only allow £15 of it. And as it's a manual override for over £9.99, they would only enter £15

Yes from tonight, yes before tomorrow morning. SA, and the SA's supervisor and customer services on the phone this evening.

Not a big loss, but, nothing on webiste as yet in T&C's to show a capped amount. Nothing instore on public view, to say the APG's were capped.

Not going to push it, with CS, as I'll continue to do APG, and will push it to £15 or as near as damn it, on each voucher!

Jeez - unless I have misunderstood, that reads as though Asda HQ are now refusing vouchers over £15 with immediate efect? Crazy .

Terrible for you - I know that Macmillan nurses in Belfast offer aromatherapy etc free and that some gp surgeries depending on budget can hook up with alternative therapies free....maybe just to help you cope.

I think if you read any Of my comments you'd struggle to find an unkind comment, my point is "to avoid" let's hope it's not quoted in the papers tomorrow's tickled pink one to avoid.
