    Tenth Anniversary
Do you have it already ?

If not please don't get one :(

A couple of years old but obviously still valid

I read the article and it is horrendous - and sadly it happens a fair bit - another !!!!!!:) was prosecuted not long ago.

I actually have 5 marmosets - please dont freak. They are all very very very well cared for. Four live in a huge avery in my back garden, with a massive shed with trees, bedding, food water etc. Outside, swings, ropes trees - even bought special gem trees for them.

And my little Clyde lives in the house with me and the children. He was rejected as a baby because the mum had too many - so he has been hand reared. He runs free in the trees in my garden, and comes in and out when he wants - but hes always in by 7pm and sleeeps with myself or one of the kids. He also spends time in the avery with his brother and sister so he is never alone.

I do hope this puts your mind at rest - there are some nice monkey lovers ou there:)
You sound like a good owner, responsible and caring I really do mean that, was wondering how he "slept" last night and hope he's ok today.:)

Its just that my daughter was keen but we researched and in our area you need a licence.

you do need a lisence from most small primates - but for the common marmoset - you do not:)

    i actually have 5:)

Diet fanta sweet and sour is a variation on diet coke chicken, or is that another one no one has heard of? Recipe below. Its a quick 30 min meal that tastes like chinese sweet and sour xx

2-3 Chicken breasts cut into strips
330ml Diet Fanta (or diet orange fizzy drink)
    4 tbsp Passata
    Chopped onions
    Vegetable Oxo cube
    Tsp vinegar
    1-2 tbsp Sweetener
Shake of dried chilli flakes (depends how zingy you like it!)

    METHOD:

    1) Cook the chicken until browned. Add the onions and cook until they soften.

    2) Add a can (or 330ml) of Diet Fanta / Orange drink, the passata, vegetable oxo cube, vinegar, sweetener and chilli. Add some chopped peppers and any other stir fry vegetables you fancy!!

    3) Let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until it starts to thicken up. If you find it’s too liquidy after this time remove the lid and turn the heat up to reduce it to sticky sauce.

    4) Once cooked stir in some fresh pineapple chunks and add to cooked noodles or rice.

Sorry forgot my manners, [STRIKE]morning[/STRIKE] afternoon everyone and welcome home Westie and HC

Thanks for this Sharon:T - I love the diet coke chicken and mushy pea curry ( but i skip the beans ) I always eat following a slimming world friendly diet now as I wanted to eat healthy - I am not on a diet but I have to say these dishes are fab - my DH loves them too ! This one I've not tried so cheers !

BTW - I make extra sauce and extra rice when im cooking these dishes then make a chicken fried rice and add the sauces as a lunch and they are yummy - just a wee hint !

Well I've heard that things are going belly up on the thread again, I'm 40 pages of 40 posts per page behind, I've had the day from hell, so don't think I'll bother catching up.
I hope no one is in need of support and I'm sorry if I've missed anything.

Just a bit of advice.... make a will if you have loved ones.
Tonight I feel as if I've lost my Grandad all over again :(
My mum discovered his house had been put up for sale by my Aunty - who has no right to do this - 3 siblings, all equal share, nothing discussed.

So for over four hours tonight I've been to my grandad's house, routing through rubbish bins finding memories that have been carelessly thrown away, fortunately these could be retrieved... sadly I can't say the same for the bags and bags that were taken to the tip. And it's driving me insane wondering what has been lost forever.

My mum and I went over there every few weeks to just feel close to my Grandad, it still smelt of him, everything was how he'd left it, we'd have dinner from the chippy my Grandad always took us to and then off we'd go. Now I know that couldn't have gone on forever, but now our chance to say our last goodbyes to the house, to my Grandad, to the familiar smell, to everything we'd loved, has been ripped from us.
Today the house may as well have been empty, it didn't feel like his, it didn't smell like him.

So, don't think that families will stick with each other and all get along nicely, yes, many will be fine, but others can be so effing hurtful.

Anyway, just as I was getting far to upset I saw the meteorite breaking up, truly amazing and was like a little phone call from heaven, sadly not long enough.

I'll stop rambling now, I do hope you are all ok :)

Families can be very hurtful and thoughtless at times.
The one thing that can never be taken from you and are most precious, are you memories. Sending you hugs. :A
