  • I'm not so sure you are looking at the correct table. Your post states you have a £17 voucher, so where does that come from?

    Tesco Sainsbury's Morrisons Waitrose
    Competitor comparable shop £26.71 £25.45 £25.49 £9.78
    ASDA comparable shop £28.34 £26.34 £25.59 £26.61
    Difference to ASDA -£1.63 -£0.89 -£0.10 -£16.83
    10% Cheaper than competitor £24.03 £22.90 £22.94 £8.80
    Difference to ASDA
    comparable shop -£4.31 -£3.44 -£2.65 -£17.81

I thought it was odd -there were only the two items highlighted in red.

I can't have hit the £100 limit, I probably have only reached £40 and that's over estimating. Confuzzled now - It doesn't take much.;)

    Can anyone remember these?

I was gutted when they stopped making them it was my favourite!

Oh I had forgotten about those. My uncle had a sweet shop and we got to try all the new chocolate bars frm the reps. That explains why I am the size I am with crap teeth. :rotfl:

I see you have not addressed any of the points I made, just used bullying/belittling tactics as usual. I do not have to have stars against my name to, politely, share any views or opinions I may have. The double standards in this thread are quite frankly staggering, posts of grabbing tons of 1p items but you feel able to name helenas as greedy. Yes he may be an excesive user and while it may not be for me or indeed you, who are we to judge?? Who decides where that line is? Im afraid for me the first time you went into Asda and bought goods to knowingly get an APG any moral high ground was lost. I genuinely hope "your" thread gets back to the way it was for you all, as judging by the rather extreme responses it is a lifeline for some on here. Unfortunately at the minute I fear that as lovely as your pictures are ( and I genuinely mean that) most people would rather see helenas updated lists!
Can you please stop with all the "bully" accusations. And please don't make assumptions on behalf of others. I for one am not interested in Helenas list. I do my homework to find out if what I want would work or not. :)
  • Heres one that i hope can be explained.
Up until recently i could go in homebargains and buy 12 oxo cubes for 49p.
    Heron,discount uk 24 @ £1
    Poundstretcher 79p for 12.
None are available in any of these stores any longer, but are available in all main
    stream supermarkets @ around £1.19 for 12.
    Maybe off current subject:)
But could any one enlighten me to why they are only available in the top 5!

It's my DS3 18th very soon and he's having a BBQ. Well to be honest. We had a BBQ for my grandmas 90th other week, we had a bouncy castle at it for all the little ones.
Yesterday I asked my DS3 what he wanted to do for his 18th. He said I want to have a BBQ with a bouncy castle. I said your going to be 18 you know. :rotfl: he said well if grandma can have one for her 90th then I can have one for my 18th :rotfl:
He did have a point :D

That sounds great, I think that I will have a bouncy castle for my next big birthday and have a go all on my own. I remember i had a go when my dd was small , we were at a party and the first ones to arrive. She wanted to go on but was only little and a bit nervous. There was no one arond so i kicked off my shoes and jumped on, we were having a whale of a time when I looked up to see several kids and sets of parents all looking at us! Miserable wotsits didnt even laugh. I had to stay for the party as DD was small and boy was it a long one !:rotfl:

Are you from the reds/blues neck of the woods. I thought only us scou!?rs wore them :rotfl:

lol...no East Midlands way....and everyone I knew had them...this was late 80s early 90s....I remember my dad buying me one off a bloke in the pub :rotfl:.... it was hideous :rotfl: it was obviously more of a kid/teenage thing though as I dont remember any adults wearing them....

apart from the geography teachers on field trips...their reasoning being that if they got wet, they dried easier and quicker than jeans!!!

and following on from that....in Peter Kay style...why did teachers always use to wear strange clothes on school trips....they always looked like a teacher...never like a normal grown up!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
