I havent posted for a while but have been skipping looking at the fab pictures and reading the stories. I know you are lovely people and like me animal lovers so I thought I would share this with you. In 1990 we got a tiny cross bred siamese/alley cat (his mum got out naughty girl!
) Anyway we took him home, funny little thing, he looked a bit like a bat with his pointy ears and face. My boys loved him but when they went near him, as tiny as he was, he spat and went for them. So between them they came up with the name Beefy Boy
. He was a little nightmare, got up to so much mischief, he hid in bedside drawers, climbed net curtains, tore the furniture to pieces, stole food off your plate and generally caused chaos! We would regularly find dead animals under the kitchen table that he brought home. Anyway it is now 2012, he is still with us although the boys have all now married. He is deaf, he has arthritis (DH has put a ramp from the back door to the garden to make his life easier) and the sight of a bird in the back garden now confuses him. He is very fussy what he will eat but at the moment likes the Iams Senior as a side dish
. We know he wont last forever and it will rip our hearts out when he goes, but what a lovely long life he has had :j. Thanks for reading.....Maz
Aww bless beefy boy sounds like he's had a great life with you and your family0 -

I'm not sure what has gone on? But take care, don't be pushed out of something that you have enjoyed and contributed to.
It seems that there is a divide on here, its a shame and not needed, I find that everyone has a differnet opinion. I like to thank all posts if I can.
I have stayed out of thanking posts for the last hour or so, as some were a bit confrontational.
Re: Henlans I have found him so helpful with his lists and the work he has put in, I know he's not everyone's cup of tea and some of his posts are a red rag to a bull.
But I think for everyone treat it as you would at a buffet, take the bits you will like and enjoy and leave the pickled herrings for the other diners.

I agree with everything you say, but I don't think you have to be a newbie to be a troll. (I'm NOT saying that Leenie is a troll btw!)0 -

I have lost all faith in some of the people I trusted on here, I suppose that's the internet for you? To be called a troll after over a year of trying to give out useful information when I could hurt me.
I my not have saved anyone hundreds of pounds but I was always 100% genuine in all my posts, some you win and some you loose.
I have lost all interest in trying to clear my name and really why should I even try.
Guys take care.
Must go

Oh LL I dont know what happend but wanted to say that I always love your posts. I loved reading about all the hard work you put into Toni's wedding and one day I will do the tea cup candles like you did.
Please do not go or just lurk. We need to outnumber the wallys in order to get back to normal. Have seen too many great people leave the thread recently. When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think

Yes I saw that mentioned the other day 45p, I always add a tin to every shop as it's free, it's a bit like the compusarly Giant button, flump and white mouse.
My voucher for the beanz gets queried more than any APG, especially when they check and see the voucher is for 1p more than the actual price, they ask did I buy the right size can :rotfl::rotfl:, I couldn't even begin to image what they would do if it went through at 45p, they'd be taking me to customers services to be shot.
Thanks for the warning, the OH keeps telling me not to buy anymore of the five beans, I always tell her I'm not they are paying me :rotfl::rotfl:.0 -

My late dad and I used to walk the 2 miles to the nearest shop for the papers on a Sunday morning for the papers and get one of these each and eat them on the way home, my one treat in the week that I didn't have to share with my snotty little brothers:rotfl::heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0
