I'll be sad when this finishes. I've been stocking up my friends, family and elderly neighbours. One old chap has just lost his wife, and won't leave the house, one has just had a spinal fusion done and has difficulty walking, and two others are on very low incomes, so it has really helped them, and has only cost me pennies. DS1's GF has gone back to uni well stocked, which will mean she won't have to worry about her grocery bill. Mum and MIL, both 80+ have had some luxuries that they wouldn't have bought for themselves. I know I'm not alone in sharing the bounty from this, and I know that lots needy people have benefitted from all the marvellous brainpower and deductive reasoning that has been generated by the special community on this thread.
This is what it is all about and I know some of the regulars have been a bit put out about the thread being taken over, but this sentiment just encompasses (sp) the whole thread(s) for me.0 -

In Slimming World its also known as speed curry, as the after effects can help speed up your weight loss:rotfl::rotfl:
Your spices are exactly what I've used, all the talk last night made me really want some so have the sauce good to go for tea. I'll be having it with onion, peppers, mushroom, sugarsnap peas, baby corn ans served on top of Slimming World chips from the actifry. Can you tell I'm on a major mission to have a good weight loss this week after faffing around for the past month :rotfl::rotfl:
Hi Sharon-p
I was thinking about joining Slimming World - but as a man, feel rather shy about joining a weekly group meeting.
Can anyone say whether the online membership is just as good? Or is it the motivation of the group meetings that holds the key?Friendship Is Magic.0 -
Afternoon all - OH went back to work from paternity leave so today was the first day on my own with Tigercub and 3 yr old. Got to read back but just saw a few posts re: the glitches maybe coming to an end. All good things must unfortunately come to an end... i've been very thankful for what I''ve got/passed on/informed family members about so if it is the end, thanks to everyone involved who began it in the first instance:TTiger
