My apple tree (bramley) only had 1 apple this year and the squirrels got that a couple of months ago :rotfl:

We did have a huge harvest from it last year though.

Now something we do have too many of is courgettes - any recipes gratefully received as I'm running out of ideas.

I too have loads of em and mammoth marrows. Ive made both into cakes. Think of carrot cake. I didnt tell anyone what it was and they all had more of both. Google recipies and read comments. Cooked a lot quicker for me and would use less sugar next time.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

What a wonderful and thoughtful idea I would definately pay but can there be an option to pay more if you wish to.:T:T:T
I'd probably do it through a "just giving" page so yes.

Few stationery bargains in Sainsburys 70% off. :)

Pukka pad refills 160 pages 89p.

The projetct books were RTC too think £1.49, other bits but I was in too much of a rush to take note.

Did manage to fit in a chocolate shop at As hope I got it right, was hoping the galaxy was still the trigger and not something cheaper as I had not been on since yesterday afternoon. ;)

Hope everyone well, not had chance to catch up with anyones news. My lounge is half full of stuff to go back to uni with DD2 and we have not even started on clothes yet.

Doubt if I will be around again until monday, mum not very good at the moment so hoping she will be ok with DD1 and DD3 keeping an eye on her tomorrow while we take the trip back to Keele. Wish was not tomorrow as I would like to be around because her meds were increased quite a bit yesterday. I had to call her palliative care nurse as her pain has not been under control at all this last week. :(

Yup I know I disappeared for the last week. But I have a great excuse.....and he's sleeping upstairs in his cot.

Zac Edward was born on 14th September at 12:48am weighing 6lbs 13oz. Labour was amazingly fast. Medically it was only 1 hour. But it was only 4 hours between waters going and having my little man in my arms.

Was kept in so long because of some medical concerns, but am home at last and all is going well.

Once again I didn't expect the birth for a good few weeks....and then he decides to come early. I will sort a pic out....but for now they're all on my camera and I have things all over the place.

Note: If someone would kindly fill me in on the current glitches I'd be very grateful. I'd imagine I have hundreds of posts to try and get through.

Congratulations, nice to see you back.:)
Looking forward to the pics. Another Elite baby.

    hi
sorry to ask, what maybe and already answer question but can't see asked
but can the batteries be bought on their own or is a trigger needed

    many thanks
    MT

thats ok....the trigger was the Rocky bars....i bought 2 packs of Rockys and 1 pack of AA and 1 pack of AAA....to play it safe :rotfl: but would assume that 1 pack of Rockys will seal the deal....as long as the total is an even number (including the Rockys) :D

make sure you get the right batteries though...the Duracell Ultra....blue and black packs :D
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

    Good afternoon all :D

As many of you know my darling neice passed away at the end of July from leukaemia.:(

Last month I won an "experience day" voucher through the redspottedhanky olympic games competition. It finally arrived yesterday:j I said at the time that I would pass the voucher on to those marvellous people at the "Make-a-wish" foundation. Unfortunately it turns out that this prize is "non-transferable".
    Anyhoo, I was looking at the experiences on offer and one caught my eye. A 1hr pop taster where you get your own CD made. Whereupon last night in a drunken state (due to the glithching wine ;)) came up with the following idea;

Would you donate 50p to hear Mad sing? :o (I would release it under Mad or something similar so I could remain anonymous:eek:). Probably around Christmas time just in case it goes viral
All proceeds to go to said charity.
So I can gauge the potential please click the thanks button if you would. :AOr ignore this post if it's a "jog on Mad" :rotfl:

    Count me in. :)

Thanks for highlighting this outrage. I felt moved to act and submitted the comment below...

"I am apalled that this could even be under consideration for a whole host of reasons which many will explain far more eloquently than I.

Should this be approved I will personally pledge not to spend my 'tourist dollars' in any state participating in this cruelty and actively encourage my wide circle of friends, colleagues and contacts to do similarly."

Thanks for commenting on this. This is the only way these parks will close their doors, if people like yourself boycotts these facilities. Unfortunately Seaworld is one of the worst culprits. People dont realise what goes on behind the scenes, they only see the fit healthy animals.:(
