Go back to page one - there is a link half way down to Fudge cakes list which explains it all quite clearly, also do a search for Henlans he has a very comprehensive list, just go back through all his old posts until you find it.

Basically you need trigger items to make things cheap and then buy in multiples of 3 if its a 3 for 2 at another supermarket (including trigger item) and multiples of 2 if its bogof. Scan through the pages until you find receipts people have posted which you can read and work out. I know its a lot to read but this is the 4th one & I've read most of them!!

Also open a word document and copy bits into that, receipts, lists, good explanations.

    Good luck.

At last, found it:T was looking for fudge cake, and found jamsponge instead, got confused:eek: also saw Fk's happy sofa.... what happened to HC? At the moment, dont answer that one! Right I am going to read and compare my shop before it all ends, cant believe I havn't done one sooner, hope you dont mind if I come back with more questions...I know how you all get frustrated when someone doesnt get it first time;) Thanks for now
  • Thankyou Redfox, Luckily Budgie has never had an experience of a troll before, but I do have to admit that the posts from this particular member have been uncomfortable to say the least.

But thankyou for your advice and of course all of your hard work, I know I haven't been on this thread long, but I have been on mse for awhile and I wouldn't dream of trolling. :(

    Budgie xxx

Budgie can I just say you are adorable. Always so polite and funny with it. Thank you for being you xx

  • Actually you miss the point entirely.

This isn't your average glitch thread, its a small community of people who help and support each other as need be. Nobody stops newbies joining that community but henlans has made no effort to do so and actually when many (not just me) have challenged his attitudes he's basically told them to naff off.

You might like that, most on here do not.

I don't recognise your name so perhaps you didn't stick around long enough to fit in, I don't know. We never turn away people who join in here and never have done. I'm not sure it's fair of you to blame us because you didn't feel like you fitted in either. We all get the sense of belonging in places and not all of us feel that same sense in the same places, its what makes us all different.

I'm no bully, in fact during most of the !!!!!ing on here lately (particularly on the last thread or two) you'll find I didn't bother posting at all and left them to it. For this thread however a lot of the regular posters decided to try and make this thread what it was before. That wasn't MY doing, it wasn't MY idea....it was a collective thing. Hardly a bad thing that people want to fight to save something they believe in and value.

    :(:(:(:(:(:(

It really really saddens me to read this thread.
    Why do I read it?
Because it was a warm friendly thread & I read to try & catch up with my cyber friends here.
Now I don't recognise it - it's become a thread of trolls, bullies, braggers & 'who can shout the loudest & longest'

Totally agree with you Snap-ant. x

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:never thought of it like that, so funny

    Sorry still catching up
I had a conversation with my SIL whos doing her As training at the minute. Apparently they have a points system where points are awarded to them if a customer tells CS how helpful they've been or went above and beyond to find/help you with anything. These are accumulated and converted to store credit for them in Dec as a thanks from the company,so if you do find a true treasure, either do as lokitty has done and email or let the instore CS know about it.And I know theres been some discussion about bonuses being affected by this glitch but bonuses are awarded in Jan as long as sales/waste/till balances etc targets have been met and not affected by apg or coupon use xx

That is good to know Sharon, thank you, I had hoped that they do something as she was lovely.

I know what you are saying; I have been 'hanging around' these threads for a long time (I even remember HC joining ) but for one reason or another, am not a regular poster. I'm not going to justify why I don't post often, but the consequence of that is that I'm not seen as a regular, in fact probably seen as a lurker.

I can see why you think of FK like that, but like any other poster, well to me at least, he has good points and bad points. I don't think there is anybody on here that I think is all good, or all bad. Myself included of course! I quite often see someone say some wonderful, supportive posts to someone in need, then the same person be quite rude to someone else.

I think you're brave to post this, as saying anything against any of the regulars will have people shouting you down. I hope you stick around... especially now I've made my bed by thanking your post :rotfl:

I am all good! I am! I am! **marches off with her one tin of Heinz 5 Beanz and a "few" bottles of Lenor Summer Breeze**
