I think it's you that misses the point entirely to be honest. You say " our nice thread" but I have to point out that this thread does not indeed belong to you or any other group of individuals but to MSE and the community as a whole. If you want to take it to the extreme then "your" chat thread should be in the Arms. You are obviously very upset that your chat is being disturbed but people are only trying to save money, which is what MSE stands for after all. I believe your bullying tactics and nasty comments will only result in this thread being closed altogether, which will be a loss for all.

I know what you are saying; I have been 'hanging around' these threads for a long time (I even remember HC joining :eek:) but for one reason or another, am not a regular poster. I'm not going to justify why I don't post often, but the consequence of that is that I'm not seen as a regular, in fact probably seen as a lurker.

I can see why you think of FK like that, but like any other poster, well to me at least, he has good points and bad points. I don't think there is anybody on here that I think is all good, or all bad. Myself included of course! I quite often see someone say some wonderful, supportive posts to someone in need, then the same person be quite rude to someone else.

I think you're brave to post this, as saying anything against any of the regulars will have people shouting you down. I hope you stick around... especially now I've made my bed by thanking your post :rotfl:

You might like that, most on here do not.

I don't recognise your name so perhaps you didn't stick around long enough to fit in, I don't know. We never turn away people who join in here and never have done. I'm not sure it's fair of you to blame us because you didn't feel like you fitted in either. We all get the sense of belonging in places and not all of us feel that same sense in the same places, its what makes us all different.

I'm no bully, in fact during most of the !!!!!ing on here lately (particularly on the last thread or two) you'll find I didn't bother posting at all and left them to it. For this thread however a lot of the regular posters decided to try and make this thread what it was before. That wasn't MY doing, it wasn't MY idea....it was a collective thing. Hardly a bad thing that people want to fight to save something they believe in and value.

You wont because it was last December ish i was here i believe and when i have popped in since i have kept to myself, i stick mainly on the coupon and cake boards, and just nose every month or so here, it wasn't so much a case of not sticking around long enough more some of the replys being put out there by certain members, its also not nice trying to chat and feeling as if you are talking to yourself 90% of the time when people are quite happy conversing with posts before and after yours if that makes sense, and apparently a lot of people miss the point, like you saying that apg should not be in this thread, but you discuss it here so it attracts attention because it isn't anywhere else, you want it moving to it's own post etc OK, yet you do not want what you call a chat thread moving to the chat boards, i see why you don't want it moving but you can't realy argue for one but then oppose the other.
