Samsung Tocco Lite & Wi Fi?

I use a Samsung Tocco Lite, it's my own phone and a couple of years old but the contract is tied to my work. I like the phone and use it for calls & texts.

I haven't tried to use it for getting on the internet but would like to........

My home broadband provider is offering me free WiFi access and I haven't got a clue if:-

a) my phone is compatable with this offer (is it classed as a smartphone?)

b)I think I've heard someone say my phone doesn't come with WiFi is that relevant?

c) are there are cost implications going on line on my phone whether or not I use the free WiFi offer

Sorry if the answers are obvious but I'm not very tech savvy so please be kind......

No WiFi in the tocco lite - you can't use home broadband with it.

If you have no wifi - then you need a mobile data package to use the internet on the mobile. Saying all that - its pretty poor quality phone and using internet on the tocco lite is more pain then its worth.

I have a Tocco Lite, it is ok if you want to read emails, but is slow to view web pages. The new Tocco Lite 2 has wifi, but is still only 2G, you might as well get a phone with 3G or HSPDA if you want to use the internet.
