Thanks guys it wasn't too scary, honest thanks taxi, having had no salary for years, money actually in the bank is a very odd concept to me, not that there's much.
M21 - I've got my fingers crossed for you.
Today's plans involve more wood chopping and filling up the baskets with free wood and making more kindling now the axe is back in the garage
Sorting out a proper meal plan as I bought 'ingredients' yesterday
Rubberising a chicken roasted last night
General tidy p and Hoover (think free exercise)
Another dog walk but longer this time although need keep careful in the snow
Meeting in town at 3.30
Pick up car insurance money (hopefully)
Home cooked meals all day and maybe a bit of baking?
Pay a couple bills
Moved some money around yesterday so must see its all where it should be
Aside that little lot, not sure.
Hope you all have a great day I'm off to find some inspired chicken leftover recipes....Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Be careful with the active stuff, Pippi! Free stuff sounds great, but I think I'd be quite wary of a redhead with an axe :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Good luck with the insurance and the baking - I've definitely acquired laurels to rest on, since I've now done mse twink's hobnobs recipe twice. Forgot to shape them at all the second time, so what I'm eating has *very* random shapes, which is interesting2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi Pippi, hope the leg is on the mend. Loved the axe murderer story!0

Glad youve enjoyed mad tales with axes......Thanks chaps, troglodyte how's the garden and the tiddlers?
Kc I promise I'll be good :-) leg is still quite uncomfy.
Had a ginger walk up a part of the hill with el mutts but snow came on heavy again. Nice snow here, it's powdery and squeaky.
This morning - stripped a chicken and boiled up for stock
Made soup and scoffed soup, some left to portion up.
Made fridge pasta sauce, from half a tin of tomato paste, half a jug of leftover cream and some frozen ham (packet was split up and frozen at new year) and a moderately bendy courgette.so happy with that
Now on to the bills.....Money is indeed where it should be.
Kc twins hobnobs, not made them in a while, they're generally multishaped here

New Years day call from ex - he's moving to New Zealand hopefully in the next year.
Really do I smell that bad????
Few implications for the kids there....................gulp.
 NZ Really? Doesn't he live in France now? Why the move?
Surely he won't see the kids as often as he does now. I hope the kids are okay with this.
Anyway (sorry was so shocked when I read this) how's things?Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Morning!
How are things Pippi? Hope the leg is on the mend so you can go 'off-roading' again soon! I've been keeping up with your blog posts - also found you on LinkedIn the other day!
It's cold here but starting to feel like spring - snowdrops are out, rhubarb is insisting on growing even though I've covered it with heaps of straw twice!
I'm back working full time while OH is on 6 months' paternity leave and it's great, he is turning into the male version of Nigella and I'm wondering if we can come up with some sort of cunning plan to perpetuate this situation!0 -
Wow troglodyte how did your OH get 6 months paternity leave? My DH got a week!!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

It's unpaid, so unlikely we could keep this up for long unless we come up with something REALLY cunning!0

Ah! I see. Glad he's enjoying it though. I doubt my DH would throw himself into being a househusband. He tries to pretend he's all modern and stuff but underneath I know he needs to be the main breadwinner. Men!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
