  • Holiday spends accounted for only one small thing on card in France. YAY

All OK - travel more than expected but due to a change of ferry pricing structure.

Need to invoice work, waiting for Dec pay and also Dec extra pay from invigilating which goes to the cards,..........

Also waiting for car insurance payment for write off. Must chase that.

glad to see you're not too badly damaged but ouch all the same
I am on FB but find it hard to find people on there but will have a look
  • Hi Pippi, welcome back and glad things are not too bad, hope the leg will be better soon though.

Not sure what to say about the ex's move. Part of me says 'great, get as far away as possible!' but then it will be expensive for kids' visits.

Woah, Pippi, I popped on here to see how Taxi's been doing, and just seen your news about the kids' dad!!! !!!!!!!!! He must really try your patience ....

How's the leg? Hope it isn't still so painful, but if it would have been put in a plaster cast in years gone by, I'm thinking its still pretty bad :( hugs for you.

Hya Pips, glad to see you are coping with your contraption...how long are you having to wear it? How are you getting around? I assume you can't drive? :(

Now what did NZ do to deserve your ex heading down there?? Sorry, that doesn't sound very nice. Well I do like NZ but not sure if I would like your ex if I met him!!

Ooops too any questions there...apologies!! :o

Rather shattered tonight, been invigilating today 8:30am to 3:30pm with only a 20 minute lunch break...then topped it all off by going to the gym on my way home...all I want to do now is sleep :)

So think I will do a bit of knitting(with North Ronaldsay wool ;)) tonight rather than sew...even if I do have a new (to me) machine to play with!! :D:D:D

Hope all is well with everyone x

  • Hey chaps thanks for popping by waves hello

............contraption on leg - 6weeks to 3 months - depends on how badly ligament torn. I keep telling everyone don't feel sorry for me, I've just come back from a stunning holiday! Well that's true isn't it count your blessings and all that.

No idea what's prompted the move - you're all quite right as far as I'm concerned pluto would be far enough, however, I'm worried the kids travelling with reduce the time they spend together and mean that visits are not so regular. At the moment, the opposition party doesn't think so, but seriously who takes a weeks holiday to NZ and can afford to fly kids out there 5 times a year?

    Lots of thinking.

Back at work (didn't take any time off, self employed and all that) - driving Keiss I'm only just back driving as its my left leg and one of hte cars is an automatic. Getting in and out of a car is however, not so glamourous.

Need take a hard look at budget and money and prioritise spends this year as we intend to go and break the rest of me next xmas................

    And, no I never learn.

  • Blows dust off the door frame and pops head in.

Hello world of money = I need to sort myself out again, whilst I'm not falling into too many bad habits I've no clue what I'm doing.

With that in mind away to the banks of onlineness.
