    I've been declined.

I've received a message today to say that

"Hi, We are pleased to inform you that your enquiry has been successful. This will appear as added in your account until the payment is received by Quidco. On receipt of payment from the merchant this will show as received. Payments from merchants can take up to four months please allow us this length of time before pursuing the enquiry any further. Kind regards, Quidco"

dates back to end of October so don't give up, maybe it will show. I also notice though that Abel and Cole have disappeared from Quidco.

  • Have you thought about using a different cashback site? Some of these merchants I've never had problems with on other sites. Could this just be Quidco ripping you off?

I did the A&L personal loan thing also.

didn't take the ppi and hey presto I get the please call us where the went through the application form from scratch.. despite telling me they had eveything already and just having me say yes or no to confirm it.. again the ppi sell.. again I said no.

Did I get the promised cash back???? NO

Am I suprised.. No guessed it might happen as soon as they asked me to call. A nice easy way out of the cash back + they probably got cash off me through the phone call.

I'm beginning to think the same thing! :(

The piddly amounts under a quid generally seem to track, but the juicy amounts such as the recent O2-£100 (x2) and , AA Home Insurance £30 (x2) haven't tracked for me personally. :(

This a total of £260, which I tend to factor into a decision to purchase summat.

Also noticed with Quidco lately that the waiting period to make a claim gets extended when you get near the original soonest claim date.

For instance when both my O2 and AA transcations didn't track, the waiting period to make a claim 14 and 30 days respectively.

When I got near to the date I could make a claim, both were doubled (28 and 60 days respectively).

Summat stinks at Quidco I think.

    Also had problems with TCB.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility that someone has found a way to 'intercept' your 'click thru' and have it credited to themselves. The income from this could potentially be huge if is a widepread problem.

On the other hand, it could just be the retailers being ar5ey.

I know where my thoughts lie. :(
  • You have to do all transactions directly through the affiliate to get the cashback. For example, If you look for the cheapest insurance price on an aggregator first, and then decide to purchase through an affiliate to gett he cashback on the cheapest price, the insurance company has seen that the original quote came from the aggregator, so will attribute the sale to that particular channel. Therefore, the affiliate you completed the purchase through will not be awarded the sale or given the cashback incentive to pass onto the customer. It is something to do with your computers 'competing cookies'. I hope this helps clear up some issues? The affiliates and their partners are not trying to scam anyone, it's just the nature of the online world and how transactions are tracked.
  • Two Issues with Quidco.

I took a car insurance policy with Kwik-Fit Insurance. After 4 months of waiting and raising an enquiry Kwit Fit declined the transaction. I cancelled the policy.

I subscribed for Sky HD+ through quidco which has tracked and it has been over 6 months and on raising a ticke this is what quidco has to say.

"It can take a full four months for payment to be made following validation. Consequently, you should receive payment by the end of September 2009. However, due to a payment delay with this merchant, this is unlikely to occur. ( Note: Should receive ... unlikely )

Please therefore continue to monitor your account as you will be paid once your Sky transaction updates to 'received' status.

We appreciate your continued patience on this matter.

What I cant understand is if the transaction has tracked ... why is quidco not claiming the cashback and making the payment ???? :(
  • Worrying our Kwikfit transaction is sitting there as tracked has been since June if it declines I will be very annoyed.
