Hi all
Call to you regular experts out there. I am changing to EDF and need to submit my readings as requested by EDF for the electricity, however I am confused.
I am an economy 7 user and my meter shows reading 1 which I get is the day one, reading 2 and T for the total.
The confusion is this:
Reading
1: 07558
2: 05444
T: 13032
For you experts in Maths you can see the total should read 13002????
I have read this meter many times and have never had this problem, the total has always been 1+2=T.
Two questions, firstly, why doesn't this add up? Secondly, what reading do I submit to EDF?
Thanks as always to you all for your help. Am truly puzzled.

Ask EDF! I am trying to help, trust me0 -
Where are these numbers coming from? Are they on your bill? Are they on your meter? If they are on your meter, what sort of display is this? Is it a digital display? What buttons do you press. Can you maybe take a photo and post the link to the photo here so we can see it?
Basically I am thinking that the display might just be faulty. It might be an LCD display (like on a calculator or digital clock) and some of the cells that make the numbers might be broken. Your 07558 might actually be 07588.0 -
See what I mean?0

Hi JD
It's an SSE digital one. No buttons to press at all. It shows reading one for about 7 seconds then flashes to reading 2 then total. It can only display one read at a time. As said never had this before so really puzzled.According to ABBA apparently it's a rich mans' world . . .:p0 -
