Just phoned eBay and they have confirmed that the item can go to the address the seller has messaged me.

I pointed out that I thought this was against the rules but the guy didn't even acknowledge it!

Should I cover myself with a recorded delivery to the other address?
DO NOT USE RECORDED. IT OFTEN DOESN'T TRACK.

AS ABOVE, USE FULLT TRACKED POSTAGE ONLY!!!!!

Sorry for shouting, but you really, really need to know that. Use one of the services I listed above to return your item.
  • I'm posting on the bottom of this thread as I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a new post!?!?!? I have a situation where a seller on ebay sold me a printer described as a new printer and when I received it it obviously was not new. I emailed the seller and he would not respons so I took my case to the resolution center and they found in my favour. The said they would issue me a full refund and to ship it back tracked and supply the information to the seller which I duly did. I have checked my paypal account and they have only issued me a refund for the sale and not the return postage so I am now £15 out of pocket. I rang ebay and they told me that I had to take it up with the seller but he will not respons to me. Does anybody know what my rights are?

My sincere thanks in advance for any help

Ebay and paypal wont force a refund of return postage - and even if they did - £15????

Does the seller state buyer pays return postage in the listing?
