  • Spent yesterday painting the kitchen and dining room. This was the second coat and looking at it today it will need a third!!! If onlyi had a time machine - why did I ever paint in such strong colours!!!!

Anyway both rooms are a disaster but I thought I would do one thing of each day today to try and bring the house back into some order!!!

    Hi all

Not much happening today here. Been to park this morning, was v chilly and good thing we had hats and gloves. And I wore earmuffs :rotfl:

Still dry here so far so I have cut the grass, but the clouds are rolling in and the breeze is picking up. Had a quick look round garden and there isn't anything really that could get blown away. Kids bikes are all in the playhouse and there is a pile of plastic plant pots but they are tucked in a sheltered corner.

Have done the laundry shuffle, got a bit of ironing to do later. Then just to sort dinner, load DW and since it's Sunday, the kiddies can put all their toys away and have a dunk in the bath.

I've put spare hats and gloves in their nursery bags, although if the rain is as bad as forecast I doubt they will be playing out much.

Am working from home tomorrow, so saves me traipsing about in it too...

Went to park this morning but most of the equipment was wet so we had a walk then popped in Mr T for a comic.

    Ironing mountain is empty.

DH has cut the front lawn and next door's too.

Coats thinned out from hooks in hall.

lost count on numbers x WM done.

Well flyladies, have done all the tasks I planned. Chicken ended up in the oven instead of slow cooker as we've decided to eat in sort of middle of day instead of tonight. Will be dishing up in about 10 minutes.

Needless to say, I haven't had time yet to relax, read or do competitions but I will try once dinner is done and washing up all away.

Last lot of washing on the line. Stay dry vibes please. The clouds are rolling in.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Still raining here

Opto-mum - take no notice. Maybe just be a bit guarded as to who you tell anything to. Fail to see how feeding your baby as anything to do with FiL myself

Jenny - hi, hope all is well

Kaz well done on the boot sale, one a year is enough for me!

Soup made, massive pot, about 5L, I'll freeze some tomorrow as I'm thinking of defrosting one of the freezers first.

Been to Mr S to buy a few bits. Dropped DS1 at work as it's pouring.

Off to sort out DS3's PGL stuff next.
