Dustykitten - did you get much gardening done today? I'm not much of a gardener but do need to do some tidying up. Just I am a whimp when it looks cold out there!

About 5 hours! Also hoovered out the car.

Face is smarting from being outside so much now - will I glow at friends party tonight or just look like a lobster!

Cooked my own pizza first as I was hungry - ready to deal with the needs of others now.

  • Having HH 'me time' - DS is out, DH is at another cricket dinner ( picking up his and DS's posh awards from the league - DS flatly refused to go - cue much resentment!) and DD1 is in the bath. DD2 is away visiting the boyfriend in Derby where he is at Uni. It seems very strange not having her around....

New F/F delivered - we have to wait 4 hours before switching it on.....

They just dumped it in the packaging in the middle of the kitchen - it took both DH and I to get it unwrapped and into position...

Evening! Been out for tea with tots. They had a ball, and we were a little late home so bedtime has thus far been quiet. We went to a wacky warehouse pub to meet friends, and DS is convinced it was a party and wants to know what happened to the cake and his party bag :D

Not much flying here, just the dailies and bit of laundry. Hoping for a dry morning tomorrow so I can chase them round the park and then have a quiet one at home. Think mum coming over as her dh is knocking a wall down or something.

Forecast is looking pretty bad although it might take a while to reach us northerners, Monday is expected to be downpours all day. Glad I'm working from home...

Wow CY boyfriend sounds like a 'keeper'. I hope your DD recovers fast.

Lots of ironing and washing done today.

A cold war is in progress between me and DH. I'm making £10 last until Friday and I was assured DH was in the same boat. He's been out and bought a new laptop bag today. (Scratches head). We are beyond arguing and silence has set in.

I'm shattered from a day of running the kids to all their activities. DH usually does Saturday mornings so I can get on with flying in an empty house. Flying was done this afternoon. Bathrooms clean and sparkling and bunk beds bedding changed. DS3's sheets are splattered in blood where he's been scratching his eczema in his sleep. I'm going to cream him 3 times a day until we see an improvement.

I hope everyone gets a good night's sleep.

    Good morning all!

Well I forgot, but months ago booked tickets for the Phantom of the Opera in Edinburgh and it was yesterday! Being as skint as I am, I could have done without it really, but the tickets and the train tickets were already paid for months ago...so obviously I wasnt going to waste them!

We had breakfast at home before we went and had a big lunch in Edinburgh before we went to the show. Passing poundland, we bought some treats for at the show and since we'd eaten a lot at lunchtime, we werent hungry for tea! So we had homemade chinese chicken curry and rice when we came home at supper time :)

So it wasnt as bad or as expensive as I feared - Only had to buy lunch and some treats :T:T:T

Anyway, Did lots of flying on Friday night... there was no chance of me doing anymore studying... my brain was fried after those assessments (I really hope its not all going to be this mind-numbingly dull :( )

So im off to grab my list and update for today, and see what I have left.

I also need to meal plan and see what I have in that could constitute a meal for today....otherwise itll be off to the shops xx
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)
