Hello All,
Has anybody any experience with the above stoves, looking to purchase one for my house as I like the look of them, reviews seem ok on What Stove.
Also could anybody recommend a decent fitter in N. Wales?
Cheers:j:beer:

I have the firefox 8 twin door (Preferred the look to the single door)..but its the same stove.
I think it is a fantastic stove. Warms the house up lovely. We were recommended a 5kw but me being me decided to go for a 8
. I have not regretted it once. It belts out heat when its going but it is nice and controllable.
Its very heavy, as the delivery was just dumped on the front step so you need to think how you are going to get it in the house.
You will need air vents for a fire this size but the vent size is quite small.. I have two vents going through my suspended floor. (I found the round ships vents online as I preferred them to the fitters, which was a rectangle one)...
I went of the reviews off whatstove
I only burn wood. I have seen a woodburning kit for this but never tried it. There are some tips on whatstove that I keep meaning to try in regards to making it better for wood.
Edit: I should say that I dont really have anything else to compare it to as it is my first stove. So I can only compare it to friends stoves.0 -
Speak to RN Williams a about fitters, they have a list of people they recommend. http://www.rnwilliams.co.uk/0
