Hi,
Some heads-up & advice for any of you blogging or running a site off either Wordpress or Joomla.
There is a spate of hacking going on at present, the hackers will access your site via weak passwords. The result of this will be your host may temporarily take your site down, or if Google discovers it first, a malaware warning will be the result for all potential clickers. Either way the result can be devastating for online businesses with a drop in search engine rankings.
Guard against this by making your passwords as complicated as possible - store them somewhere so you don't forget them.
If you run Wordpress, the default user is "admin'. Change this to an equally complicated word to add an extra line of defence.
And make sure your site is totally up to date - check for updates regularly, Wordpress will, like your browser, become more secure with each update.

And update to the latest versions of Wordpress, Themes, Plugins and PHP as soon as they become available. They include fixes for the bugs hackers use to login without your password.0
