http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1853652/doughnut-muffinsMorning :hello:
Lack of sleep here too, mr tru was snoring his head off last night
I have a few more tomatoes to freeze. There's more in the greenhouse, I want them all to ripen today pleaseI want to store some wood and bags of sand in the greenhouses over the winter and the tom plants are in the way, lol.
Weird tomatoes (eyes drawn on by mr tru).
First strawberry of the year! It ripened two days agoIt's posing next to a 2p so you can see it's size. Very tasty it was
Love the tomato pic
I have a single solitary apple clinging to a rather spindly tree :eek:DH just called in. 36hrs of surgery but he's ok.

Had a hot sunny morning but now its black again and keeps pouring with rain. went to the car boot sale but there was only one stall there today due to the weather being so changeable. Good news is they are forecasting hot sun for later in the week.
Still on the healthy eating kick (I am all the time but my OH has to lose 10kg due to his back being so bad). Food today; Greek yogurt with fresh fruit, cheese, beetroot and olives (due to me having no gluten free bread left ) dinner tonight will be lamb chops (braised) with veggies.
Planning my new winter exercise plan to start next week. Its getting too cold in the pools for me to go swimming (yes, I am nesh...) so back to power walking on the mountain and three intense weight training sessions a week. I do four hours work at the gym in exchange for both our memberships for the year so its a good deal for me. Planning one session a week kickboxing practise which will be done at home (can't afford the lessons this year)...with my other half holding the kick/punch pads.....that should be fun......
Made some home made Hummus yesterday and its the best I have ever made. This time I soaked and boiled the chick peas instead of using tinned...big improvement and the rest of the panfull have gone in the freezer for using in stews. Got seven big portions for one euro. I like to use them in soups in the winter.
Might sort out my winter clothes next week and get them washed ready for the bad weather when it changes. Hope it waits till after the tourists have left the island.....
Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks...“The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin.” Confucius (551 BC - 479 BC):A0 -

Afternoon all
Had a great time at the wedding reception, having a chilled day as feeling a bit "fragile"! The couple had a wonderful day blessed with excellent weather, good company, good food, lots of laughs - surrounded by family and friends that shared their day. We had a few drinks in the pub within the grounds of the hotel before the evening reception. Lucky devils are off to the Maldives for their honeymoon. Not much OS here this weekend, but it was a special occasion. Although did manage to do a balance transfer on cc as had a 0% offer until Sept 2013 - so thought we'd go for that, so managed to get that organised.
DH going to collect his van shortly - he will then collect boys from mum and dads on his way back.
Take care, enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Evening all,
Been MIA for a couple of days so hope everyone is well.
Not been a bad day today but it's now pouring. Good excuse for a Sunday night snuggle in front of the tv.
I'm another Strictly fan but missed it last night so have just caught up. It's going to be a great series this time, can't wait for it to start properly.
we have decided to take our house of the market as well which I feel really happy about. I'm fed up of showing people around who are no where near in a position to buy or put ridiculous offers in. Looking forward to our holiday and wedding in Oz at Christmas and then will come back and enjoy living in it. The move to Australia may have to wait for a couple of years or may never happen but it feels lovely to feel like my house is my own again iykwim and we can start making plans instead of living in limbo.
We had friends around last night for supper which was lovely, I mad chicken chorizo and chickpea stew with rice and crusty bread, yum with enough left to freeze for tea on Monday night which is always a rush.
Been back on track with my diet this week and on countdown for our holiday, about 12 wks. I keep trying swimming costumes on to keep me motivated. If I can lose another 12 pounds that will be 32 since April.
Have recorded the new series of Downton tonight as its not really DH thing. Dd getting himself ready for 2nd week at college which he really enjoyed, long may it continue. Have a good evening all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
