I meant hypothetical in reference to myself.
Some one I know went through something like this and went down the route of don't care tell and it all worked out for them.
I was interested in what what legal action could have been take if they wanted to?
As it was not something they had considered. And they thought the person would not go through with it and they didn't.

But the person who did this, put who ever you know through blackmail, threats of sexual assault & possibly harassment , pretty vile really! If they still have evidence of this they can still take action.
Any one capable of this, is capable of trying it again and so it's worth making the police aware of this person, they might have also done it before.0 -
it's still blackmail
I'm pretty sure this is not true, women can be charged with rape but not sure if it would apply in the context you describe.
it's still blackmail possibly with threats of sexual assault
Woman can be charged with aiding and abetting but not rape they don't have the equipment.
Black mail is normally about getting money or goods from someone when you have info on them and threaten to tell. As it comes under the Act of theft 1968.
Can you cite your references for me. As I curious.
What if made no demands where made at all. But A said I am going to tell B about us it is only fair they know. Is that still blackmail?

Maybe the woman should just keep her mouth shut and see what happens but then she should maybe have just kept her legs shut in the first place.0

Hi, A quick browse of the Internet would suggest that they could, but the technical terms for blackmail may be slightly different, every thing you have described is illegal and is an offence or offences. They need to get proper advice I would strongly suggest that the Rape Crisis centre would be a good place to speak to and get advice from.0

The person concerned is happy to let things lie.
As I asked before what about this situation

I would say that is spite but not illegal. Right?

Difficult one! It all depends on the facts and what has actually happened! Could still be considered harassment depending on what has actually gone on, this story is evolving and changing By the minute.0 -

For example, a woman may be convicted of rape where she facilitated (helped) a man who has raped another person.

Rape definition is not simplistic ,
On the original query look up #62 of the sexual offences act 20030 -
Drop that crowd. A woman who two times and a man who coerces to get sex. There are so many infinitely nicer people out there.0
