I think you get account credit - the policy is on their website. If you pay by card they take the £75 but then refund the £30 by the time it is dispatched. This is as per their website and also what happened with my delivery (I ordered on 22nd and it was dispatched 23rd. I had the refund processed back to my card on 23rd)

Thank you, I think I will just pay by card instead then to save myself getting confused!:rotfl:

Had an e-mail from Studio saying my order has been dispatched
  • Many thanks again for this thread - mine arrived yesterday from Very. Although it is a Christmas present, I put batteries in it last night, just to check it was working & am very impressed with it! Now just got to look out for cheap games & accessories!
  • Currently in Smyths toy store sale for £59.99 (advert in today's paper)
  • I seen the advert for Smyths in the paper, £59.99 and also the Sun(sorry) has a £5 voucher off a £20 spend in Smyths so innotab 2 = £54.99.
:money: giving me & my darling boys a better cheaper life :o:A

    Eighth Anniversary Combo Breaker
You can also get the above price (£54.99) by the Mothercare Price Match Promise. They have it for £84.99, Smyths for £59.99 (I don't know if they would also take into account the Sun £5 off voucher, I didn't ask as I didn't know about it), difference = £25, 20% pricematch is £5, so £5 off gives you £54.99.

Plus I got free standard delivery or named day delivery for any day after Monday 1 October. :)
  • At Smyths toys. Also games are £19.99 but buy one get one half price. Don't forget the on-shelf promise!!
  • I ordered one of these from Very. I used the £30 off for new customers code & although I had to go through the process of taking out a credit account with them, I paid by debit card. It was delivered within a day.

I don't want the Very account - I simply ordered from them to get the price on the Innotab 2. I'm still within the 14 day cooling off period so I can cancel but does anyone know if they'll then revoke the £30 code & take the £30 back from the card I paid on?

Thanks to those who posted about the smyth offer and mothercare price match. I was gonig to order with the price match from studio but glad I didn't. Somehow I got the most amazing deal. When the person I spoke to put me on hold she had asked me where I lived so they could check stock. I thought that was weird as I had called the first morning and the pink innotab2 was instock online just before. She came back and said yup we can price match that for you, but it has actually come down in price to 49.99 at smyths so with price match it came to 42.99! I didn't argue. Looking online I guess she saw the older version and there happened to be low stock available at my local store. Order has been proccessing since so figured they were going to cancel it, but it just arrived! DD has been harder to think of a main present for so this will be a great suprise. Thanks again!
