Your local independent tile shop probably your best bet. Sometimes they have end of line sales etc which work out cheaper. Mind you the price of grout and adhesive is quite often almost as much as the tiles themselves .

Wickes are offering discounts at the moment, we bought tiles for our bathroom and kitchen at less than half of what other well known discount tile suppliers wanted.

I would second Wickes as being very competitive on price. They dont have a huge selection but we have always found what we wanted there.

I wouldn't order tiles online that I haven't seen in the flesh. Tiles can vary massively in quality/look/feel.

Go round the big names (B&Q, Wickes and Topps) and get prices from one or two independents as well.

If your tiler can supply the tiles they may be able to get a trade discount.

Have to be honest and say that that Topps Tiles are probably the most expensive, have a look on the DIY supplier websites as most are cheaper than Topps Tiles. The wonderful bargains on offer with Topps are just to get you in store, the actual prices are usually far more for anything but rubbish.
  • re the Tops 10% voucher, you can just print this off and take it into store if you want, you don't need to buy online. I did but I went to the store first, worked out which one I wanted and paid for a sample just to make sure it looked ok at home, then I registered and bought them online with my 10% voucher. I then collected from the store as didn't need loads and at the same time returned the sample and got my money back. Their website is good too, has some useful design tools on there if you want to see what your chosen tile looks like in various rooms....
